Temple Cycles Limited uses the information we collect about you to process orders and provide a better service. We never sell or disclose any customer information to third parties unless required to do so by law and we do not store your credit or debit card details. We send emails about once a month with product news and events and the Temple Journal, but if you’re not happy receiving them, let us know and we’ll remove you from our mailing list or you can unsubscribe from the list at the bottom of the email.

The following information sets out in more detail how we handle customer data in line with current GDPR guidelines.

Collecting, using and storing information

When you purchase goods or services from us, sign-up to receive news, browse our website or get in touch with us we may use or store your contact information including names and email addresses, and delivery addresses. 

On the whole we rely on the fact that using your information is necessary to perform a contract for the sale of goods or services, or where it is necessary for the pursuit of our legitimate interests, including: increasing sales, encouraging customer growth and loyalty, understanding customers’ behaviour, preferences and needs, providing customers with a high level of accurate service and improving that service, providing an expected service in relation to sales, handling customer enquiries and complaints and preventing and detecting crime. In general we only rely on consent as a lawful basis for using your information in relation to sending you email newsletters and you can withdraw your consent at any time.

In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass to Klarna certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.
